Stephen Court was born in Kingston-Upon-Thames in 1945. He studied at the Yeovil School of Art. A Royal Academy Travelling scholarship enabled him to study inFrance.
He graduated in Fine Art Painting from the Birmingham College of Art & Design in 1968.
He has worked in Yorkshire since 1974. His work ranges in media and size from small paintings, drawings and prints to compositions on mural scale.
